Hair iron straighteners are safer and nicer to your hair than your grandma’s ancient method of removing kinks from her hair. Yup, she may have used a traditional iron – the type used on clothing. Strange but true! Though this was quite effective, it surely damaged hair horribly.
The hair iron straighteners we have at our disposal today are less harsh but give better results. Ceramic heating plates, ergonomic handles and automatic shut-off features all add value to this tool. Gone are the days of leaning over an ironing board and not being able to watch the progress in a mirror.
I can only imagine what a time-consuming process old granny’s hair straightening techniques were. Poor grams! If only we could teleport current-day hair styling equipment into the past. Maybe when time-travel becomes common, everyone will be spared of the laundry-room hair salon!
