Ceramic hair irons save time
Ceramic hair irons offer great heat control. Wavering degrees of heat can produce sub-par results. When the temperature of the iron remains consistent, the straightening process is more successful – and time-saving!
Ceramic hair irons have a heating plate which regulates temperature. Most have a speedy warm-up time. Many also have a bonus feature which auto shuts down the tool if you’ve left it on inadvertently.
Older straighteners were less efficient at producing the right kind of heat because they lacked ceramic heating elements. This is one reason women have stereotypically been known to spend hours fixing their hair! With older irons, touchups were usually needed. The longer a styling tool is in contact with your hair, the more damage it can cause. Modern equipment helps change that stereotype. Now there’s no need to spend hours straightening your locks – consistent temperature causes less hair damage and less styling time!
