The hair claw is the same as the hair clamp. The claw has two hands joined together at the base with a retainer pin. The hands are spring loaded to stay closed. Squeeze the base and the claw opens to allow hair to be put inside the fingers. Release pressure and the hair claw closes over the hair with enough pressure to hold the hair and will not slide during regular movement.
